📜 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Coupley, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of the free and Premium tiers.

✅ Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Coupley. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement. Coupley is intended for personal, non-commercial use between two consenting adults in a romantic relationship.

👥 Accounts & Pairing

• Each user may have one account. Invite codes are valid for 24 hours and are consumed on first use.
• Each new pairing creates a fresh shared workspace. Old shared data is not transferred to a new partner.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

💳 Premium Subscriptions

• Premium is billed through Apple's App Store. Pricing is set per region (e.g. ₫99,000 in Vietnam, £2.99 in the UK, ¥600 in Japan) and displayed live on the paywall.
• One subscription covers both partners. Your partner inherits Premium automatically through your shared couple connection.
• If either partner disconnects, both accounts return to the free tier. The original purchaser retains Premium on any new pairing they create.
• To cancel, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Coupley. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• To restore a previous purchase, tap "Restore purchases" on the paywall screen.
• All billing disputes must be addressed through Apple; Coupley does not handle payment information directly.

🚫 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Coupley for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Upload content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the app.
• Circumvent any security features or attempt unauthorised access to our systems.
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or interact with the app.

🧠 AI Features

AI-generated suggestions (mood ideas, date ideas, Relationship Coach sessions) are provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. They do not constitute professional relationship, psychological, or medical advice. Always use your own judgment.

• Free plan: 1 AI Coach session per day, limited AI mood and date suggestions.
• Premium: unlimited AI Coach sessions, 50 mood suggestions and 25 date ideas per day.

🧩 Feature Limits (Free Plan)

• Up to 2 active goals, 1 active challenge, 1 dream.
• 1 custom quiz per day.
• 1 AI Coach session per day.
• Premium removes these limits and adds photos, Memory Capsules, all themes, and more.

©️ Intellectual Property

All app content, design, code, and branding are owned by or licensed to Coupley. You retain ownership of the content you create (messages, photos, memories). By using Coupley, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely to provide the service to you and your partner.

⚠️ Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Coupley is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

📝 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use after the effective date of a revised version constitutes your acceptance.

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hanoi, Vietnam.
