🔒 Overview
Coupley ("we", "our", "us") is a couples app built on intimacy and trust. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We believe your relationship is yours — we are only a tool to help you nurture it.
📋 Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the Coupley experience:
- Account data — your Apple ID identifier (via Sign in with Apple) used to authenticate you. We do not store your email unless you choose to provide one.
- Couple data — moods, reactions, messages, chat photos, goals, challenges, dreams, memories, anniversaries, and any content you create together.
- Usage signals — mood history, love-language signals, and partner preferences that power AI suggestions within your couple.
- Device info — locale and currency settings used to display prices in your region.
- Purchase data — whether you bought "Remove Ads" (or held a former Premium subscription), confirmed through Apple's StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Advertising data — if you have not bought "Remove Ads", the app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt), IP-based coarse location, ad interactions, and diagnostic data to serve and measure ads.
📣 Advertising
Coupley is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are never based on your moods, messages, memories, or any other couple data — none of that content is ever shared with Google or other advertisers.
- On first use, iOS asks whether Coupley may track you. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you still see ads, but they are not personalised with your advertising identifier.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) lets you choose how your data is used for ads. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Buying the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase removes all ads for you and, while you are connected, for your partner.
- Google's use of data is described in its privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
💑 How Your Data Is Shared
Your couple data is visible only to you and your connected partner. No one else — including other Coupley users — can access your moods, messages, memories, or goals.
When you disconnect from a partner, your shared workspace remains tied to that pairing. A new partner cannot see data from a previous relationship.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not share your couple data (moods, messages, photos, memories) with advertisers. Ads are served by Google AdMob as described under Advertising.
- AI suggestions are generated using only your couple's data and are not shared externally.
🤖 AI & Relationship Coach
The AI Relationship Coach uses your mood patterns, couple profile, love-language signals, and shared activity to generate personalised suggestions. This data is processed to serve you suggestions and is never used to train models shared with other users or third parties.
📸 Photos & Media
Photos you share in chat, memory entries, dream boards, and anniversary covers are stored securely and are accessible only within your couple. All photos (including Memory Capsules, Dream Board, and anniversary covers) are deleted if you permanently delete your account.
🌍 Data Storage & Security
All data is stored with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We use secure cloud infrastructure and follow best practices to protect your information from unauthorised access.
🗑️ Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at Manhcuong531@gmail.com. Upon verified request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

🔔 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

📜 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Coupley, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of Coupley.
✅ Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use Coupley. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement. Coupley is intended for personal, non-commercial use between two consenting adults in a romantic relationship.
👥 Accounts & Pairing
- Each user may have one account. Invite codes are valid for 24 hours and are consumed on first use.
- Each new pairing creates a fresh shared workspace. Old shared data is not transferred to a new partner.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
💳 Free App & Remove Ads
- Every Coupley feature is free. The app is supported by ads.
- "Remove Ads" is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase billed through Apple's App Store. It is not a subscription. Pricing is set per region and shown live in the app.
- One purchase covers both partners while you are connected. If you disconnect, the buyer stays ad-free on any new pairing; the other partner sees ads again.
- Former Premium subscribers stay ad-free permanently. Premium is no longer sold; existing subscriptions can be cancelled any time in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Coupley.
- To restore a previous purchase, open Settings → Remove Ads and tap "Restore Purchases".
- All billing disputes must be addressed through Apple; Coupley does not handle payment information directly.
🚫 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Coupley for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Upload content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the app.
- Circumvent any security features or attempt unauthorised access to our systems.
- Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or interact with the app.
🧠 AI Features
AI-generated suggestions (mood ideas, date ideas, Relationship Coach sessions) are provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. They do not constitute professional relationship, psychological, or medical advice. Always use your own judgment.
- Because each AI request has a real cost, AI features have a fair-use limit: up to 10 AI Coach sessions, 10 AI mood suggestions, and 25 date ideas per day.
©️ Intellectual Property
All app content, design, code, and branding are owned by or licensed to Coupley. You retain ownership of the content you create (messages, photos, memories). By using Coupley, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely to provide the service to you and your partner.
⚠️ Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Coupley is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
📝 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use after the effective date of a revised version constitutes your acceptance.
⚖️ Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hanoi, Vietnam.
