Overview
Line ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal timeline and habit tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The short version: Line stores all your data locally on your device. We do not have servers that store your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Line iOS application and describes how we handle information in connection with your use of our app.

Data We Collect
Line collects minimal data necessary to provide core functionality:
Purchase verification — When you purchase Line Premium, Apple's StoreKit framework verifies your transaction. We receive only a purchase confirmation token, not your payment details.
Crash reports — If the app crashes, Apple may collect anonymized crash logs and send them to us via Xcode Organizer. These contain no personally identifiable information.
App Store analytics — Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (total downloads, country of download). Individual user data is never shared.

Data We Do NOT Collect
We want to be explicit about what we do not collect:
Your name, email address, or any contact information
Your events, habits, schedules, or completion history
Your location or GPS data
Your device identifiers or advertising IDs
Biometric data of any kind
Health or fitness data beyond what you manually enter
Photos, contacts, or any other device content
Usage patterns or behavioral analytics
No account required. Line works entirely without an account. You never need to provide an email or create a profile.

Local Storage
All app data — your events, habits, preferences, and completion logs — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's UserDefaults and local file system.
This data:
Never leaves your device to our servers
May be included in iCloud backups if you have iCloud backup enabled in iOS Settings (this is controlled entirely by you and Apple)
Is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app
Can be exported or deleted at any time via the app's Settings → Preferences → Stats & Data section

Third-Party Services
Line uses the following Apple frameworks that may involve data processing:
StoreKit 2 — Handles in-app purchases. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
UserNotifications — Schedules local notifications. All notification content is generated on-device; nothing is sent to external servers.
UIKit / SwiftUI — Standard Apple UI frameworks with no additional data collection.
We do not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, social media APIs, or tracking libraries.

Children's Privacy
Line does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal information from any users, the app is safe for users of all ages.
The app does not contain any age-restricted content, advertising, or in-app social features.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:
The "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated
Significant changes will be announced within the app on next launch
Continued use of Line after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Previous versions are available upon request.
