Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Line iOS application ("App") developed and operated by Line ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Line on any Apple device you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

This license is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Sell, resell, or sublicense access to the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent

Line offers a one-time in-app purchase called "Line Premium" that unlocks additional features including unlimited events and habits, advanced customization, notifications, backup & export, and full icon access.

• The purchase price is displayed in the App before you confirm the transaction
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Premium is a one-time purchase with no recurring subscription fees
• Premium features are linked to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices via "Restore Purchase"
• All transactions are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms

Since Line Premium is a one-time purchase (not a subscription), there is no cancellation mechanism. Refund eligibility is determined entirely by Apple's refund policy.

To request a refund:

• Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
• Sign in with your Apple ID
• Find the Line purchase and submit your refund request

We do not process refunds directly. All refund decisions are made by Apple per their App Store refund policy.

You agree not to use the App in any way that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of Line or any third party
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its underlying systems
• Interferes with the proper functioning of the App
• Uses automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the App

All data you create in Line (events, habits, preferences, completion logs) is stored locally on your device and belongs entirely to you.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining backups of your own data using the in-app Backup feature
• Any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or iOS updates
• Ensuring your device is secured to protect your personal schedule information

We do not access, collect, or store your personal app data on any server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Line is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content within the App

We make no warranty that the App will meet your specific requirements or that defects will be corrected. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Line and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or corruption of files
• Loss of revenue or profits
• Missed appointments or scheduling errors
• Any other losses arising from your use of or inability to use the App

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App (i.e., the price of Line Premium, if purchased).

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• The "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated
• Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice on next launch
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

If you disagree with any changes, you may stop using the App. Previous versions of these Terms are available upon request.
